The Tenth Festival Is a Complete Business Package for All Game Developers in the Country

According to the communication unit of the Iran Video Games Foundation, Mohammad Amin Haji Hashemi, the CEO of the foundation, while presenting a report on the event in 2024, said: The ninth edition of this festival was held after a 4-year hiatus last year and amid an unprecedented reception from game developers. In the Golden Gazelle section of this festival, 216 works were submitted from 112 companies and teams from 19 provinces of the country. Last year, we witnessed the presence of very good games at the festival. For example, the game "Fake Emperors", which was nominated for the Best Game Of The Year Award, won the Best Mobile and Tablet Game .award at the "Game Connection" festival in the United States on April this year and achieved good success in other festivals as well

Referring to the holding of the first investment event at the ninth computer games festival, Haji Hashemi stated: Last year, 54 teams registered in this section and ultimately seven teams were selected for investment by five investment funds. In the continuation of this process, out of these seven teams, six teams succeeded in being valued and reached the stage of concluding a contract this year and are on the path to attracting capital.

The CEO of the Iran Video Games Foundation and the Secretary of the 10th Fajr Video Games Festival continued his explanation of the process of holding this festival in January 2025 and said: This year's festival is a complete business event and new sections have been added to it. The 10th festival includes a competitive section and a business development section. In the competitive section, like last year, the Golden Gazelle Award will be awarded to the best games. We also have the issue of investment opportunities like last year. In addition, the Serious Games Award has also been added to this year's festival. In fact, game developers at all different levels, including the fields of serious games, commercial games and investment, can participate in the festival

Mohammad Amin Haji Hashemi added: The second section of the 10th festival, which has been added this year, is the business development section. In this section, conferences and workshops, a specialized exhibition for game developers, and business and networking meetings will be held over three days
